Canva Design Tips for Halloween

One of the keys to getting the Halloween look is to add text effects to your font selections. The fonts add a lot of personality, but this takes things a bit further.

How to Use Text Effects in Canva

To use text effects in Canva, click on your text, click “Effects” in the top bar. A panel will open with options for all the customizations including shadows, glow, outlines, and more. In the example photo above, the text is using a Neon text effect, which helps add to the spooky night feel of the design.

Have fun playing around with different options to add dimension and interest to your design. I find that the darker Halloween color palettes are the perfect background for using these text effects.
